I started Lindy Hopping 4 years ago, and I knew within the hour that I liked the dance. But I fell in love with the community.

6 months in, the shoes I was using at that time were a pair of block heels that really messed up my knee and ankle.

I chose to invest in a pair of dance shoes and ordered them online, waiting weeks, only to discover they were too big for me.

My friends told me about a Facebook group where I could sell my dance shoes. Which is when I realized I wasn't the only one to face this problem. Tens of thousands of dancers have the same issue.

It's 2025. You wouldn't tell a runner to perform a marathon in canvas shoes with a minimal foam cushion insert. So why are we dancers happy with shoes that do the bare minimum for our bodies?
